It is currently 8pm on a Sunday night, and I have not stopped this entire weekend between work, events, chores and just life in general. I got home from my shift at work and realized just how disastrous my brain felt and how all over the place I was. This is definitely not a good way to start off the week, so I’m going to run you over a few things I like to do to prepare for the week ahead.
- Pamper yourself
Whether that be with a facemask, bubble bath, personal hygiene or even having some ice cream, take some time out of your night to pamper yourself. Sometimes even just keep up with personal hygiene can be pampering ourselves because we don’t have enough time to do it during the week.
2. Plan your week out
Instead of heading into the week completely blind, take a look at whats coming up. You can also meal plan, organize your time, plan out workouts, weekly or daily budgets etc. Just take a few minutes to plan your week and trust me you will feel less overwhelmed and stressed.
3. Think of outfits to wear
We all have those times where our alarm goes off and we snooze it too many times so we end up running late in the mornings. But we can fix that! Other than training yourself not to snooze, you can preplan outfits. Just go through your closet, and really look at all your clothes and see what outfits you can have. I make sure to always have that one comfy outfit, a dressy one and an in-between always in the back of my head. It makes mornings during the week so much simpler.
4. Set your intentions
How do you want this week to do? What goals do you want to get done? Why do you want them to get done? How do you want to spend your time and energy this week? Think about what this week can hold and all the amazing things you can do.
Lastly, take a few moments to think about the endless possibilities that this week has, and the adventure and craziness it can bring.
